Sales Development Representative


Full Job Description:

TreasuryApps Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying, including closing business. The Sales Development Representative is responsible to promote TreasuryApps solutions in order to secure new SaaS business.

The Sales Development Representative engages with senior managers: Treasurers, and CFOs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to communicate technical information professionally in written responses and verbally.
  • Experience in the financial software industry.
  • Knowledge of treasury related concepts.
  • Work in collaboration with other areas to drive new business.
  • Reports to Regional Sales Manager.
  • Write responses to RFIs/RFPs, presenting TreasuryApps proposals in a very professional manner.
  • Travel may be required although it is expected that most of the work will be performed online.
  • Ensure opportunities are accurately reflected and maintained in TreasuryApps CRM, providing weekly updates to Senior Management.
  • Update sales forecasts regularly.
  • Attend conferences and industry related events as requested.
  • Prepare demos, meetings and communications with prospects and customers to address their needs as part of the sales process.


Education, Experience and Skills:

 

  • Experience of selling to banks or non-bank customers.
  • Experience in selling to CFOs.
  • Results driven personality.
  • Minimum 1+ years of successful experience in selling software solutions.
  • Being able to communicate technical information professionally in written responses and verbally.
  • Understanding of the buying process in middle market and large corporations and how to navigate the decision maker network to close business.
  • Experience using CRM sales applications.
  • Possess excellent negotiating and professional networking skills.
  • Understanding of how treasury department create value.
  • Able to adapt in order to achieve the desired results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Economics, IT, Finance or MBA preferred
